This pack contains one B-17G Flying Fortress.

Initially the B-17 was a far from impressive bomber. Its firepower failed to deter German fighters while its comparatively limited payload was comparable to a Mosquito. As tactics were worked out and the aircraft improved, the B-17 become increasingly effective and by the time of the 17G was a serious strategic bomber.
