This pack contains two Dewoitine D.520 fighters.

The D.520 was designed as a modern fighter in 1936, designed to be a contemporary of the Bf 109 and Spitfire. It never got a chance to truly be tested against them as after the fall of France it never underwent the years of modifications that the British and German fighters did.

The best of the French fighter designs; introduced January 1940. By May 1940, only 79 aircraft were in service, the bulk of the 256 manufactured being returned to the factories for needed modifications. It continued to be produced and employed by the Vichy French, German, Italian and Bulgarian air forces. The last aircraft was retired in 1953.
