AC92 Mitsubishi G4M3 Betty (1:285)
Details
This pack contains a single G4M3 Betty bomber.
The Betty was a long range Japanese naval level and torpedo bomber. It proved very effective in the early war but was too vulnerable to cannon fire in particular as the war progressed. The most notable action it was involved in was the sinking of the Repulse and Prince of Wales in 1941.
The Betty was nicknamed the flying zippo or one shot lighter by both Japanese and Americans alike. This was due to an alarming tendency for the fuel tanks to catch fire when shot at.
