Austrian Avant Garde (Early-Mid-Late War) Attachment Pack
A holdover from 18th century warfare, the Austrian Avant Garde Formation's mission was to meet the enemy, force its deployment, and select the location of the impending battle. The Austrians attempted to use it to counter Napoleon's new rapid method of movement and response. A combined arms Formation, size and composition varied radically but generally included a mix of light cavalry, grenzer infantry, and artillery.
This Austrian Formation Includes everything necessary to assemble an Austrian Avant Garde Division for the Early, Mid & Late War (1804-1815).
