ESR XXML FR003 French Corps Reserve (Mid-Late War) Attachment Pack (10mm)

Add to Wish List

French innovations in both the technology of artillery and its use defined the Napoleonic Wars. Massed artillery, especially the heavy twelve pounder reserve batteries, were used as an offensive weapon to breach holes in the opposing line and prepare it for assault by massed infantry and heavy cavalry. Forming these 'grand batteries' would often involve gathering guns from all across the battlefield and focused on a singular point where the battle would be decided.

This French Formation includes everything necessary to assemble a Mid or Late War French Corps Reserve, in addition to providing additional horse artillery batteries that may be assigned to infantry or cavalry Formations.
