GER022 Focke-Wulf Fw-190A8R2 (1:285)
This pack contains a single Focke-Wulf Fw-190A8R2.
The Fw-190 was developed to be a supporting fighter to the Bf-109 design. It was introduced in 1941 at which point it was superior to the Spitfire V in everything but radius of turn. The advantage was lost with the introduction of the Spitfire IX in 1942 but the Fw-190 remained a competitive and flexible aircraft. It served as a fighter, night fighter and ground attack craft. It's design was sturdier than the Bf-109 which had constant problems with the strength of it's landing gear, for example.
