GBR018 Westland Whirlwind (1:285)

This pack contains one Westland Whirlwind. The Whirlwind was developed as a heavy fighter in the 30's and entered service in 1940. It saw limited wartime use being only supplied to two squadrons. It proved successful as a ground attack aircraft but was replaced in 1943. It was heavily armed and protected as well as being fast. It however lacked manoeuvrability and suffered from similar problems to the Bf110.
