(1:285) N539 Ferret Mk I W/47 & Cold War Scout Car
This pack contains five Ferret Mk I W/47 and Cold War Scout Cars.
The Ferret is one of those vehicles which can truly be described as ubiquitous. Designed as an armoured scout car, versions were also built to deal with insurgent repression and main battle tanks. It has been used by armoured divisions and police forces, a truly remarkable vehicle.
It was used by a long list of countries (it still is used by several today). Burkina Faso, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Sudan and Zambia still use the Ferret at the time of writing. It has been used by: Australia, Canada, Democratic Republic of the Congo, France, Guiana, Hong Kong, Iraq, Jamaica, Lebanon, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Rhodesia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Great Britain, United Arab Emirates, Uganda, Zimbabwe and even the United Nations.
