WBR 639 Defiant x8 (3mm)

This pack contains eight Bolton Paul Defiant fighters.

Designed specifically to shoot down bombers, it was good in this role but very vulnerable to more agile fighters. The rear turret contained four .303 machine guns which could fire up into the more vulnerable belly of a bomber. The Defiant had a chequered combat record and was eventually classed as a night fighter.
